Hi all… this is my first post and I’m new at this property investing.
I have a question in regards to where abouts are people going to get information about the current state of the property market. I’ve been looking at the newspapers and that’s great. I’ve also had a look at some websites that offer ‘suburb profiles’ at a cost.
Does anyone have any links for free suburb profiles or links to where I could go to find out stats of property sales/growth/building approvals etc… I’ve looked at Aust Bureau of Statistics and my local councils for reports but I’m after something a little more local i.e. as in per suburb.

    thanks in advance

    Hi Kooshti
    Welcome to the forum!

RP Data provide limited free suburb profiles. Check this link:
    http://www.reports.rpdata.com.au/

They include general population data and median prices and growth over the last 10 years for that postcode. If you want to be more specific you may have to pay some money for a more specialised report…

    good luck!
