Has anyone had experience with building their own home on land owned by another?
A friend of mine just bought 40 acres and we’re wondering if we could work out some kind of arrangement whereby I would take out a lifetime lease on a section of it and build my own home.
His plan is to build several small low cost dwellings to rent out (in addition to his own house) as there is a shortage of affordable accomodation in the area.
Any thoughts?

Check with local council that you can do it !
otherwise you can waste alot of time.
