I was listening to news radio the other night and they were having a detailed story on the Monopoly championships going on now.
Guessing with all you property gurus out there who loves Monopoly with a passion, is there anyone here who has taken part in a Monopoly championship?
Do share any interesting stories.

Nah…seriously, I love the game, hence the choice of name; I have 6 different versions of the game, and hope to acquire many more (games as well)!!!! [lmao]
I have never taken part in the championship, and until recently didn’t know they existed; but AM VERY INTERESTED!!! Bring it on…..[medieval]

Actually, it was when I was reading your reply to my other post that started me thinking about Monopoly the game.
And that led to me remembering about the news story and hence this post …
I gave up on Monopoly a long time ago.

It’s a fun game – but my 5yr old daughter tends to beat the rest of our family all the time

We ate our Monopoly game. Hehe, we had one with chocolate properties.
So you end up with a shortage of housing towards the end of the game.
We still have the Dutch version that we brought with us; may be we should start playing it again- much fun!Celivia

I believe we bought it at a David Jones a couple of years ago now.
Istill have the board, it’s good for short games (it’s cut down)
