An exhibition showcasing more than 80 South Island properties is to be held in Auckland this weekend.Residential, country, lifestyle, viticulture, tourism and investment properties will be featured at the exhibition with representatives from Bayleys’ Canterbury, Nelson, Marlborough, Dunedin, Wanaka and Queenstown offices present.

says South Island property is in demand with Auckland buyers. He says increasing numbers of Aucklanders are choosing to invest in South Island property or buy holiday homes there.Mr Macky says a number of Aucklanders are also choosing to relocate to the South Island for a lifestyle change.

“The South Island’s scenic surrounds, outdoor pursuits and relaxed lifestyle, coupled with lower house prices than in Auckland, makes it an attractive place to live,” says Mr Macky.Properties currently being marketed by Bayleys which will be featured in the exhibition include:
