    I am considering forming a property syndicate which would comprise of myself, my sister, my mother and brother-in-law.

    I understand that you will probably recommend I seek legal advice on how best to structure this venture but any hints and tips on how best to structure this so that we are all protected in case of the loss of or change in circumstance to one or more of the members is most appreciated.

    Some sort of a trust – probably a unit trust so that your entitlements are in line with your unit holdings..

    Speak to an accountant and lawyer (preferably in that order)………..
