Seriously though, are you saying to look in towns that are nearby to other bigger towns. And how does the ‘McDonalds rule’ apply t your choice of town?
No more than an hours drive from cities, like the one I am referring to is about 100k’s from Albury/Wadonga for instance.
Certainly no Big Mac’s but the locals are the ones keen to talk about rents etc, they love a nag.
I have found stacks of these little winners but have not purchased any because I want to be a property investor not property manager.[blink]

mmm i sense a gold rush is comming
mmmmmm… It is interesting that the interest in this thread has dropped so suddenly. The local RE agent may wonder what has hit him/her. However I doubt that there is much “gold” to go around.
Still, this particular town is far from unique. My interest was primarily that it may have been “on my door step” so to speak. As I am not east of Albury this is not the case.
