    Hi,

Is there any print or online publication available that offers a list of properties that are currently in the market whereby the seller offers lease option, vendor financing, foreclosed or wholesale/distressed properties?

Being originally from the US, I know that you can acquire a list of properties that are repossessed or REO deals, sellers that offer vendor financing, discount mortgages and distressed/Wholesale properties for sale there.

Is it possible to get a list like that here in Australia? Is lease option, wraps, wholesale deals popular here? How do investors here find prospective properties for such a deal?

    Thanks.

    Kindest regards,
    Allan

The short answer – no, not really. Vendor finance is still very much in its infancy here in Australia.
If you want to buy with vendor finance / lease option, you can go to http://www.financewraps.asn.au and you can leave your details there, asking potential vendors to contact you. Make sure you mention what area you’re interested in – I know I always check to make sure someone is looking for a house where I am likely to be selling one.
