Harry Jones was driving home in his car, with his son Robert in the passenger seat. The car was involved in a head-on collision with the truck, killing Harry outright. Robert was seriously injured and taken to hospital by ambulance. In the hospital operating room, his would be surgeon took one look at Robert and said, “I’m sorry, but I can’t operate on this patient- he’s my son.”
