All Topics / Legal & Accounting / Changes to stamp duty and land tax
Hi all,
I’ve been asked to present at a seminar – no it’s not one of ‘those’ seminars. We get asked often to talk about depreciation. This time I’ve also been asked to cover off briefly the land tax and stamp duty changes. Does anyone have a link to a good summary of all the changes?
ScottIn which state?
Seminar is in NSW, but attendees will no doubt have properties all over the place.
OK.
The reason I ask is that each state has different stamp duty and land tax levies. Some states have altered both, some changed one or the other, and some have yet to make changes to either.
The best thing I can suggest doing is looking at
the Office of State Revenue website for each state and compiling an overview of specific changes for each state to present in your seminar.Best wishes,
Jay.
Hi Scott,
Stamp duty details

Unfortunately these are the ‘old’ rates so there will still need to be further reserach undertaken.
What’s a QS talking about SD and Land Tax for?
