    Hi,
    Im really new at investing and havnt even got a property yet, and would like some help in finding out what the best way to determine if an area is, or has potential to be a good renters market can anyone help me with research techniques?

    you cld try api magazine. each month it has the rental yields for each capital city and its suburbs.

    Hi Roxana,

    As well, try http://www.realestate.com.au, http://www.property.com.au, and http://www.domain.com.au All are good sites worth a look. You can check out what the going rents are in the area and surrounding areas, as well as looking at the suburb profile/snapshot which will tell you how many schools, parks, population size, growth scales etc.

    Makes for very interesting reading!
