    Hey all,
    I have a quick question.
    I would like to set up a company/trust structure. However I already have an existing trust with me as trustee. Can I set up a company and make the company trustee instead of me? Or do I have to set up a new trust altogether and start from scratch?

    You advice would be appreciated

    Mick,

    You should be able to change Trustees…but check with your accountant!

    Changing trustee can trigger a CGT event, so do check with an Accountant as Aceyducey suggested.
