Hi All, has anyone used a product called maxi-prep by solver to cover bright wall colours, before painting them a lighter colour?
Were you happy with the results? Thanks, Diane
When you need to cover strong colours you need to use a good quality primer. I don’t know your particular brand of primer but any professional painter will tell you that this job can only be done properly with top quality OIL BASED primer. Yes you can use oil based primer over water based paint, and yes you can paint after, any water based paint you like.
I covered the impossible with oil based primers.May God bless you
and prosper you.
