just read your article on the pitfalls of -ve gearing but a few inaccuries seem to have crept in.
1, where you list John with one property and John with 5 properties a miscalculation occurs as John’s new income would be $60,415 – tax + medicare $16,682 = $43733 not $24188 as listed.
2, under the heading using equity – sell, you list john purchase price as $250,00 not $230,00 throwing all calculations out!Can you check these and adjust if necessary
