Hi,
Does anyone know any good sites to look on the internet to research specific towns or areas?Domain has an excellent suburb snapshot, which I use most of the time.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
KmelloyTry the local council website. Information provided varies, but worth a go

A similar post was made on General Investing – go to that forum and its on the first 2 or 3 pages – you will find a lot of links to other sites. Best of Luck.

You can pay for information at HomePrice Guide (www.realestate.com.au) for information at each specific post code.

Best way to research for town info is to use http://www.google.com.au search engine and type in the suburb name.

[Retire Young, Retire Rich] [strum]Hi to all
Does anyone use Residex for research or can anyone tell me if it is worth paying for the reports? are they worthwhile? [blush2]
Thanks [rolleyesanim]
Thanks guys
I have found OESR for Queensland based research, good stats.Sometimes I find in hard to find out rental info especially in rural areas. Is calling/emailing agents the best way to go? (Most of the time you cannot trust anything that comes out of their mouths especially now!)
Thanks
