Don’t want to seem dumb but can vendor financing be wrapping and or lease options. Wife and I are discussing, `nicely`, the term, and really do need to sort this out.
Wife`s brother bought(in SA) and had vendors finance for 25 years. Deed and Title was in his name etc. Was this illegal? I am assuring her it is. She is assuring me it is right and truly happened. Help!!!!!!!!
If it did happen as she is saying how can it be right, as it is bending what I believe about the rules in SA[8)]

Maybe the vendor just lent him the deposit. If the title was in his name, then I think this was what happened. This would not be illegal – even in SA.
