The number of Home units you can build on a block depends on it’s zoning and R-Code

You need a minimuim of 333.3sqm for each home on the lot ( a 1000sqm lot = 3 homes)R40-
you need a minimuim of 250sqm for each home on the lot ( 4 homes on a 1000sqm lot)R50-
You need a minimuim of 200sqm for each home unit,( meaning 5 on a 1000sqm lot )Check with your local council and State planning Commision for the status of any land you buy, and any impending changes planned
