Hey wat u guys think about car park investment. In city melbourne about 7% return, safe, minimal outgoings and positive cashflow from day 1, “renter” pays all outgoings and have long leasing periods. Also possibility of small capital gains. Sounds OK but not fantastic. Still quite good considering the current rental vacancies, low rental returns. If you want high rental returns for rural properties, risk is also higher and potential for headaches with difficult tennants and long distance travel if something goes wrong.
I own 3 rental properties with overall positive cashflow and its now difficult to find positve cashflow props within 50 kms of the CBD.
So what do you guys think about this potential. Feedback from anyone with experience in this area would be of great help.
Im not much help on this one, but if you do a search on the Treasure Chest forum/threads. You will find plenty of info about investing in parking spaces.
Oh SIS, comps over – I won. Let’s move on [][][][]
You often make better responses than me – our knowledge bases are very different, so it’s good that in some cases you know better, and in others I do – that’s how we can make that team work. Remember, you Steve, I Dave.
Hey SIS, I know shorthand too, so you can dictate it to me, and I will type it up – or we can use the story you’re making up this week, and expand on that[]
Cheers
Mel
