the markets gonna crash….no it isnt….yes it will….no it will slump….no its gonna rise…..no its gonna stabilize….no its gonna crash……IM SO CONFUSED!!!

Personally…..Im praying for a property crash. A recession would do me nicely….but Im being selfish LOL
If I had my way….Id go back 3 years and do alot differently. Ive lived…and Ive learned. After a property deal left us financially ruined and having no where to live….long story….I aint gonna bore you….we never had the chance to jump in when housing prices were alot lower..then when we eventually got back on track we just wanted to own our own home for some stability! If I only knew then what I know now…

The thing is…..do I wait….sit on my money for 12 months or so while its making a pittance in interest….or do I bite the bullet and buy our family home now.

    Im confused….

Somebody cheer me up and give me a house……LOL

Picking the market is for suckers.

Thats why I teach people how to make money from stocks without picking direction.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm……I don’t do too shabbily for a sucker. But agree with non-directional strategies when the time is right…..Hang on a minute! aren’t you the one who reckons the R/E market is going down 30%. (BTW I tend to agree…well maybe not 30%, but a fair bit)

LOL I love the shameless self promotion though.

    Pinky,

I’m with you. From a purely self-centered point of view I hope the R/E market gets slaughtered. Flogged my PPOR and I’m renting for a year or two.

    Pinky,

We have just sold our PPOR which we bought only 12 months ago (and made a nice little profit on) to rent for a while and invest. We are getting rid of our LOC, and getting cashed up – ready for what ever happens.

I wouldn’t be spending big right now, although buying a HOME is an emotional issue, not a financial one.

If NOW is right for you to buy, then do it – but be prepared for what may happen if you sell again in the short term.

    Regards,

    hi pinky

be careful where you buy, i don’t think the market will drop too much if at all, but i’ve sold about a 1/3 of my oz properties in the past 3 months just to be safe.

take your time don’t rush in learn as much about areas as you can
