    Does anyone have a links to find information about towns, such things as…

    * Population
    * Weather

    … And if the town has a Woolworths! : )

    Nothing quite that comprehensive but I do find walkabout.com.au useful most times for an initial source of info.

    Hi Allan,

    I usually find the local councils, tourist information bureau, ABS (Aust. Bureau of Statistics) are good places to start.

    Population – Australian Bureau of statistics

    Woolies – try http://www.whitepages.com.au and type in woolworths – they have advanced to having mr bell’s wonderful invention in them!
