Did anyone go to the jenman seminar last night in the ‘gong?? I’ve read his book, so there wasn’t much new stuff, except some examples were quite interesting (if the accuracy of the figures could be garuanteed!). I had my “sales pitch detector” working full time, but barely reached a reading, so for that i was quite impressed…he was quite a good speaker, and at times was quite passionate on what he was saying… and the way he gave a few of these ‘crooks’ as bashing was quite funny indeed…a pretty good free seminar…
i’d be keen to get others feedback on this…
cheers

Hi Dallas,
I went to one here in victoria last year.
Agree with your points, but there is a sales pitch involved, abeit very subtle.
1/To promote “Jenman Approved” by bagging all others (in most cases quite justifiably). The seminars are financed by none other than the local Jenman Approved agent.
2/To recruit agent’s representitive candidates. The Jenman group makes some money by training and placing agents in its clients agencies.
All that being said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with promoting your business, particularly when that business is attempting to uphold ethical standards.
I quite enjoyed the one I went to.
Cheers
Wayne
