All Topics / The Treasure Chest / What is the Price of Free Advice??
Hi fellow property tycoons
It is great to see all the information on property posted on this forum.
Alot of the information is priceless.
Nothing replaces expert advice, but I probably like alot of you out there are not in a position to pay $250 – $300 per hour for such advice. I am grateful to all who pass on their knowledge. Everytime I look at the topics on this forum I learn something that I did not know before.
Steve if you happen to read this can I make a suggestion that the website include a subject on LEGIMIATE TAX DEDUCTIBLE EXPENSES. It would be great for all property investors to know what they can or cannot claim. No offence to accountants ( I AM ONE ) but I am sure that all members & visitors to your website would like to confirm that they are claiming every possible tax deduction available.
Keep up the information everyone
Cheers

Hi Beancounter and others
Mark Withers of Withiers Tsang & Co Limited, Chartered Accountants based in Auckland, NZ has published a book titled “Property Tax in New Zealand.”
To quote “It is designed to shed light on the key areas of the Income Tax Act as they apply in day to day life to property investors.Of course this book only applies to NZers but for Aussies investing in NZ there may be things to think about for you.
The book has only 108 pages and 24 chapters. It is a good read and I have found a few things to think about.Price last month was NZ$24.95. They do have a web site. http://www.ts.co.nz from which the book can be ordered.
regards
