Hi
I am looking at a property in QLD that is lease hold as opposed to freehold. The lease runs out in 2090. Has anyone done a leasehold deal and is there any disadvantage in this kind of deal[?]
The asking price is about $52K and the net return should be $40/week after all expences and interest.

Hi,
I am in a similar situation:
I am interested at a property in NZ. The agent told me that the block is crossleased until year 2987 but still freehold. My questions are,
– what is meaning of “crossleased”?
– Is there any disadvantage of such deals?
– What will happend after the lease finish?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Peter
