exterior renvoations

Hi,

I’ve looked at some great old houses to potentially renvoate but I’m not terribly creative. Is there a resource for providing ideas on how to do up a house? I’m o.k. with the inside but the outside is tricky with older homes.e.g. what should you take off and what should be added?
