Wow to a great weekend. I have taken the first step and here I go stepping outside my comfort zone-joining in on the forum. I’ve been a reader but not a writer, why I don’t know. Some silly fear I guess. But just had to let someone know I got so excited after attending the Masters,by the time I had driven home, I had already made plans to give notice to my business partners of my intention to scale down to a 10 hr. week by next week to enable me to take the time I need to further my/our investing portfolio. This I did achieved today. They are now on notice. If nothing else, (and there was plenty else) to be in a room with such motivated and energetic people, to absorb some of that energy and wisdom was wonderful and just the added incentive needed to get on with the job. Thanks to all[:)]

Good on you dreamer and welcome,

I too, did a similiar thing today. I rung up the personnel agency that I was a week away from starting a 6 month temporary full time assignment with, and said that I am now unable to do that assignment.

I’m just not going to have the time to work FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!!!! You know what the best thing is that it felt GREAT!!

I did it because I had this voice in the back of my head saying “is this temp assignment going to get me closer to my goal, or further from my goal”. The answer was easy – FURTHER.[8]

Let us all know how you are going.

    Del
