Hi,
I have to find out whether this deal si a good one or not.currenlty a freind if mine is selling their property in strathfield.they have bought a investment property which is not perfoming well.(they still haven’t got tenants for that).since the paint and carpet is bad i think the flat doesn’t have face value.
how do i negotiate with my freind to sell it for 280,000.and to have settlement after 5 months .
i want to have a win-win sutuation.

Simply make the offer and make settlement 5months from today. Use a solicitor to draw up the contract and/or do the conveyancing yourself. A third party will make it more clear that the transaction is transparent.Enjoy

the main problem is they are expecting 300,000. and iam only ready to pay 280,000.
since i have to do some renovations i think 280k is the best deal.
i want to strike the deal without they feeling that they are selling it for low.
